Professor Spitzer’s expertise is based on decades of experience in Israel and North America in surgeries of the thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, salivary glands, and oral cavity tumors. Since returning from his combined training at the Head and Neck Surgery and Plastic Surgery Departments at Toronto General Hospital, Professor Spitzer has been leading the Head and Neck Reconstruction Unit at Rabin Medical Center. He applies advanced reconstructive techniques learned abroad, incorporating aesthetic considerations to minimize surgical scars.
