I joined Sheba Medical Center in 1994 after completing an extensive training program. I graduated with highest honors from the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, Haifa. Following my studies, I specialized in general surgery under Prof. Dintzman at Beilinson Medical Center. During my residency, I spent a year at the Shock Trauma center in Baltimore, USA. After completing my general surgery residency at Beilinson, I moved to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where I trained for four years in pediatric surgery under Prof. Filler and specialized in pediatric liver transplants under Prof. Superina. Upon returning to Israel, I joined Sheba Medical Center, where I served as Head of the Pediatric Surgery Department for over a decade.
