During my oncology internship I realized the great significance of treating and managing pain in people suffering from it in general, and especially in oncological patients. That is why, after completing my oncology internship, I went on to specialize in pain management, looking to provide a optimal and holistic medical answer to people suffering from pain. Pain management is embedded in understanding all kinds and sources of pain inflicting the patient. Only once we understand that can we choose the right treatment, or combination of treatments, most efficient for the patient, out of the possibilities we have available. We aspire to elevate pain, maximize functioning, and most importantly, improve the patient’s quality of life.
