The Pathology Laboratory at Herzliya Medical Center performs all types of clinical pathology tests.

The advanced means at our disposal and our high standards ensure accurate diagnosis and differentiation between benign and malignant tumors. The laboratory issues test results to patients from hospitals countrywide at an unmatched response rate. With the modern facilities available, precise diagnoses are made in malignant and benign diseases. Cytologic and histologic specimens are processed upon reception, and detailed reports are forwarded to the referring physician.

All types of pathological specimens are processed, including histologic diagnoses on paraffin-embedded sections, frozen-section facilities, bone and soft tissue, neuropathology and bone marrow biopsies. Immunohistochemistry is performed in specific cases according to the diagnostic needs.
